                 to the spiritual life
           "On the path to immortality"

Consider the foundations of spiritual science "octanalysis," which, together with the Bible, helps the ascetic to understand features of the system of his psyche and apply this knowledge for spiritual perfecting.

1. Variability of states, IDI cycle

To the question "What is the first-driver in Universe?" octanalysis responds simply. The IDI cycle (identification-1 → disidentification → identification-2) is the source of life, the property of a living one. Identification with one state of psyche is replaced by disidentification with this state. Then, identification with a different state than the previous state occurs. Constant change of states, variability of states is the fundamental property of the living one, the property of life. The variability of states occurs by itself independently of any phenomena. To implement the variability of states, space and time are not required. But with the help of states variability, one can generate different images and create the illusion of space and time.

In the physical world, the IDI cycle manifests itself in the form of vibration. Vibrations at low frequencies are the sound, at high frequencies - light.

2. The illusion of space and time

God is the continuous variability of states. As a result of this variability, different images are generated. The change of one image to another creates the illusion of space and time. However, changing the frames of cartoon does not mean yet that the characters of the animated film live in time. Cartoon can create the illusion of time, but not the category "time."

Variability of images means only that there is variability of images, but this does not mean that there is the category "time". The notion of time invented by man is convenient to use to describe the degree of variability of images. But where there are no images, there is no notion of time and there is no notion of space, there are only the notion of the variability of states and the notion of light, sound. Since time is illusory, then the notion of eternity is illusory, and also there is no problem of traveling through time. On the basis of the principle of impeccability, one can create an impeccable illusion of space and time, and then a person, as a rule, does not notice the illusory nature of space and time.

3. The divine state before the creation of the divine image

Some people misunderstand the phrase: "God created man in His own image, according to His likeness." They naively believe that God exists in the form of an image, and on the basis of this image, in which He Himself is, He created man. In fact, God is in a divine state before the creation of the divine image. God is in the state that causes the generation of images. The expression "in His own image" means that God is the author of the image generated according to His will. But God does not exist in the form of this image.

Studying the properties of hot water, we will never be able to understand the construction of gas or electric stove on that this water is heated and brought to a boil. To understand the construction of a gas cooker, it is necessary to disassemble it and study it from the inside.

Similarly, by studying the images that God generates, we will not be able to understand essence of the divine states. To approach the understanding of God, one must be in different states, subtly feel these states and feel the transitions from one state to another. And the development of imagination, the desire to see some images, dreaminess, dreams, fantasies only distance us from God.

4. God is a mirror

When a man comes to grief from the fact that God left him, he does not know about God's ability to reflect like a mirror and that God can, like a mirror, reflect the inner state of a person.

When a person looks into the "spiritual mirror" and sees that God has left him, this means that the person himself has left God. A person is engaged in business that alienated him from God. It is exactly what he "sees".

God is perfect, and He always responds adequately to the situation. If a person turns away from the divine and moves away from the divine, this means that the divine also moves away from man.

A person wants to accuse God of something. The man thinks: "I am so good, so perfect, but God has forsaken me. He is unjust." But God is perfect, and He leaves only those who deserve it by their actions.

The person naively believes that the calls to God will help to approach God. But the response of God corresponds to the inner state of a person, the state of the human psyche. Only by changing one's inner state a person can approach the divine, approach God. The calls to God show the intentions of man, but they do not change the inner state of a person.

Man, created in the image and likeness of God, also has the ability to be a mirror, but often this mirror can be with turbid reflection or crooked. Advancing along the path of spirituality, a person becomes more perfect, his mirror gives an increasingly clean and less distorted reflection.

When the interlocutor looks at you, he looks at you like a mirror, and can "see" something in you. If a person, looking at you, sincerely gives you a characteristic that is not true, then he sees in you, as in a mirror, himself and gives a characteristic of his reflection.

5. Development of subtle sensations

To perceive the subtle sensations of the various inner states of a person, it is necessary to develop feelings. What is a subtle sensation?

When a person feels that someone is looking at him in the back, he turns around and is convinced that, really, they look at him from behind. Thus a person becomes convinced that his sensations not deceived him. When he felt this feeling, he perceived a subtle sensation, but he did not have any image. There was only a feeling, and this feeling reflected the objective reality. Maintaining such sensitivity in one's psyche is very important on the path of spiritual development.

Some people are able to feel that their relative is sick, who is more than 1000 km away from them. Such sensitivity gives a message to a person, but no images appear.

The development of such sensitivity in many ways helps the ascetic on the path of spiritual perfecting. The development of the sensitivity of the subtle perception of the states of the surrounding world, the states of the psyche of people, the sensation of coherence of one's desire and divine will all this leads a person to comprehend the essence of his service to divinity.

6. Who creates hell in a person's life?

All that is created by God, created on the basis of the principle of impeccability, so all this is created without flaws. But in a person's life there are both paradise and hell. And if not God, then who creates hell in a person's life? On this question octanalysis gives the following answer.

The human psyche has an eight-component structura, it consists of eight hypostases. Of these, only one hypostasis, 1-Reason, is capable of creating hell. In Christianity this hypostasis is called mind, reason, the understanding. On the path of the spiritual development of the ascetic, it is the reason that creates difficulties and obstacles.

A certain hierarchy of hypostases is always established in the human psyche. When the natural, divine hierarchy of the eight hypostases is supported, the reason is at the last, eighth place. However, the reason has freedom of intellectual choice and is able to establish in the psyche any hierarchy of eight hypostases.

In keeping the divine hierarchy of hypostases, man serves divinity, the reason functions according to the divine will, maintains beauty, harmony and balance in human life. But if reason, on its own initiative, violates the divine hierarchy of the hypostases of the psyche, places itself first in the psyche, it becomes the reason-devil, the creator of hell. All the actions of the reason-devil are destructive for a person, for the health of his body, for the health of his soul and his heart. However, the reason-devil can also bring some benefit to the ascetic. Through his actions, he points to the ascetic his shortcomings, errors, weaknesses, passionate affections, which must be overcome on the path of spiritual development.

7. Reason-devil forms a sense of superiority and pride

The man who is guided by the reason-devil, we will call him "a man of the reason." How is the life of a man of the reason?

When constructing relations between people, the man of the reason always ignores the personality in the person, seeks to build only impersonal relations according to the scheme "tyrant - slave", "persecutor - victim", and always shows pride and a sense of one's superiority over the interlocutor. But pride must be feared because through her la grace is lost.

Remarks and criticism in his address the man of the reason perceives very painfully, regards it as a personal insult and thinks about how to take revenge. A man of the reason is conceited, he expects praise from others.

A person of the reason is always in a bad mood, he is embittered, is envious to those who have a good mood and who is successful. A man of reason always aspires to enjoyment to raise his mood.

Mentally, he makes a list of those guilty of his life's difficulties, including blaming to God. A person of the reason constantly has the claims to others and to God. A man of the reason does not realize that the cause of his difficulties in life is the reason-devil. He does not see a way out of this situation. This greatly irritates him and gives him no peace.

He ignores caring about the near, acting on the principle "every man for himself." He believes that a person needs to take care only of itself. When someone cares about a person of the reason, he treats this with disbelief. He doubts the useful advices and does not apply them. The surrounding people consider him to be a man with a difficult character and disobedient.

A man of the reason, through pride, is devoid of grace, and his soul suffers from this. To reduce discomfort in the soul, a person of the reason aspires to receive pleasures, to live in the charm, to be in state of seduced person. Charm, seduction is an artificial substitute for grace, is a surrogate of grace.

Grace gives a person a sensation of satisfaction, in the absence of thoughts. Pleasure, unlike satisfaction, gives a person only a sensation of temporary enjoyment, in the presence of restless thoughts.

A man of reason always wants to live in the charm, to be in state seduced, to live in the monde of temptations that is created by the reason-devil. His own opinion for him is always more important than truth. He always looks for arguments to prove the correctness of his own opinion and sow doubts about the truthfulness of the truth about which he is told.

The man of reason is always selfish, behaves unprincipled, false, insincere, uses some kind of masks, applies, if necessary, lies, slander, insidiousness, flattery, aggressiveness, etc. to achieve their selfish goals.

A man of the reason does not consider it necessary to live according to the divine will: he loves to direct himself independently of God, does it with great pleasure and enjoyment, and does not understand what man lacks of reason without God to control himself.

8. Reason-devil builds expectations

When a person builds expectations about the development of any events, then at this time he is guided by the reason-devil.

If the ascetic counted how many times he needed to utter a prayer in order to approach God, then he was governed by the reason-devil. By such actions he will not approach God.

Expectations, haste, temporary measures, half measures - all these are the creations of the reason-devil. A person can plan his activities, coordinate his actions with the actions of others, set the deadlines for carrying out work, but do not build expectations. The future is unpredictable for humans. A person can strive for the result, but do not expect it.

9. The suffering of a person

Human suffering is often built on the expectations that reason has built. How does this happen?

Expectations that have not been realized always bring sorrow to a person. And the man himself created this grief by building expectations. Let's consider an example.

The ascetic appreciated how much he needed to pray for achievement of God's mercy. He decided to pray a lot, with a margin, to surely reach the mercy of God. He decided to pray in such volumes, which are to him a feat and work at the limit of his physical possibilities. However, after the performance of this feat, he did not reach the mercy of God and from this begins to suffer hard.

Who built such expectations of person about the attainment of the mercy of God? Certainly it is the reason, the reason-devil who creates hell. And why should one believe these expectations? Why did one have to believe this reason?

On the path of spiritual perfection, one must act without creating expectations. A service based on expectations is a service to the reason-devil, and service according to the will of God is service to the Divine. Whoever feels and understands the will of God, one does not need to build expectations for the realization of his service.

Service by the will of God to the near who can not pay for your labors, a sense of satisfaction from this service - this brings a person closer to the divine.

Lack of expectations will lead to a lack of suffering. If one look at the details, the above suffering is the suffering of a proud reason, whose knowledge is very limited, and pride is great.

In Universe everything happens as it should. If a person is not endowed with the gift of foreseeing the result, then one must accept this as a fact and as a motivation for further spiritual improvement.

10. About enjoyment and satisfaction

The reason-devil excites in man the desire of pleasure and the aspiration for it. If a person feels pleasure from any of his actions, then at this time he is guided by the reason-devil. It is possible that a person does not even notice it, but over time, his desire for pleasure, for enjoyment, will bring into his life his bitter fruits and sorrows.

According to the divine plan, man in his actions strives to achieve satisfaction, and not pleasures. Therefore, it is important for a ascetic to realize, satisfaction or pleasure he wants to achieve by his actions and, moreover, his exploits.

Pleasure is the sensation created with the help of reason, which acts as a drug. Pleasure distorts a person's perception of the world and creates a narcotic dependence on this pleasure. The more often a person achieves this pleasure, the stronger a person wants to feel once again this pleasure.

Pleasure always leads to destruction in relations with people, in the deeds, to destruction of health.

Unlike pleasure, satisfaction with the result of one's activity does not create dependence on this satisfaction. The satisfaction achieved strengthens internally the person. He believes more strongly in the success of the business that he is engaged in. Such a person tunes the surrounding people to success. Satisfaction motivates a person to continue to work, to discover a new one in his life.

11. Fighting the devil

When the reason puts itself at the first place in the psyche, then for him the most suitable place is hell, which he himself creates, and the name is the devil, Satan or the reason-devil. To overcome the destructive influences of the reason-devil on the life of the ascetic, the ascetic begins to struggle with the devil. How should act the ascetic in this struggle for success?

First, the devil must be treated with gratitude. The devil is an indicator of the deviation of your psyche from harmonious functioning. The more in an ascetic's psyche deviations from harmony, the more often the devil will disturb him and will point out his shortcomings, delusions, weaknesses, passionate affections, expectations.

The method of struggle of the ascetic with the devil is often erroneous and does not lead to success. For example, while building expectations in the struggle against the devil, the ascetic, not understanding this, seeks to use the devil to fight the devil. Expectations are always built by the reason-devil, so all expectations come from the devil.

When fighting with the devil, one must take into account the effect of the law of psychic interaction "psychic similar ones are mutually attracted". This means that the light is attracted to the light, and the dark is attracted to the dark. The more the devil disturb you, the more dark you have inside yourself, inside your psyche, and you have an increasing motivation to bring your psyche in order.

The reason-devil ceases to function as a devil in only one case, when in the psyche the divine hierarchy of hypostases is restored.

What is the divine hierarchy of hypostases? Let's consider this question in more detail.

12. Eight-component structura of the human psyche

The human psyche is created wisely. It connects man with heaven and earth. Knowledge of the features of the system of psyche help the ascetic in struggle with devil, gives the ability to carefully handle with his mind, heart, soul on the path of spiritual perfection.

Octanalysis explains the eight-component structura of the psyche in the following way.

Three hypostases of heaven connect the human psyche with heaven (metaphysical world). Five hypostases of earth connect the human psyche with the earthly plane of life (the physical world).

Holy Trinity of Christianity God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit is manifested in the psyche of the ascetic through the three hypostases of heaven, three hypostases of superconsciousness, 0-Source, 7-Imagination, 6-Subconscious.

The soul, the heart of the ascetic, his unconscious and the reason are manifested in his psyche through the five hypostases of earth, the five hypostases of personality: 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 3-Irratio, 2-Ratio, 1-Reason. Pentapsychology, the section of octanalysis, describes their properties.

The divine order of the functioning of hypostases, the divine hierarchy of eight hypostases of the psyche, from the top down: 0, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. One see that according to the divine hierarchy of hypostases, hypostasis 1-Reason is on the last, eighth place in this hierarchy. With the maintaining of the divine hierarchy of hypostases, the reason maintains harmony in the life of the ascetic.

13. The influence of the reason-devil, the deviation of the psyche from the Holy Trinity

The human psyche is capable of creating for the person both paradise and hell. The natural question arises: how can the human psyche, created by God on the basis of the principle of impeccability, create hell for man?

Octanalysis answers this question in the following way.

According to the divine plan, the reason has freedom of intellectual choice and can establish in the psyche any hierarchy of hypostases. When the divine hierarchy of hypostases is violated, with the manifestation of the boundless self-will of the reason, he becomes the creator of hell in the life of man. The reason becomes the reason-devil.

Then the person begins his inner struggle with devil, with his reason-devil, who ignored the divine hierarchy of hypostases, and, in fact, insulted God.

Knowledge of the fundamentals of octanalysis helps a person to withstand this difficult struggle and return the reason to a state of observance of the divine hierarchy of hypostases.

Consider how the three hypostases of heaven 0-Source, 7-Imagination, 6-Subconscious function, when the divine hierarchy of hypostases is maintained.

In this case, the constantly changing state of hypostasis 0-Source (hypostasis God the Father) is the reason for the appearance of divine images in hypostasis 7-Imagination (hypostasis God the Son). Based on these divine images in hypostasis 6-Subconscious (hypostasis Holy Spirit), divine actions algorithms (divine programs) are formed to embody these images in the physical world, incarnations by grace.

What happens when the reason puts itself in first place in the psyche?

In this case, in the psyche, instead of the Holy Trinity (0-Source, 7-Imagination, 6-Subconscious), the unholy trinity (1-Reason, 7-imagination, 6-subconscious) will act.

When the reason (hypostasis 1-Reason) puts itself in the first place in the psyche, it is the reason for emergence of artificial, undivine images in hypostasis 7-imagination. On the basis of these undivine images, in hypostasis 6-subconscious (hypostasis the stray, dark spirit), undivine actions algorithms (programs) are formed, filled with pride, delusion, deception, aggression.

14. Hierarchy of hypostases of human consciousness

Three hypostases of consciousness 5-Soul, 4-Heart, 1-Reason in Christianity are called respectively soul, heart and mind (reason, understanding). One see that the divine hierarchy of the hypostases of consciousness, from the top down: 5, 4, 1. This means that according to the divine plan, in the functioning of consciousness the soul is in first place in the hierarchy, the heart is in second place, and the reason is in third place. In other words, with the observance of the divine order in the consciousness, the heart is subordinated to the soul, and the reason is subordinated to the heart, which is subordinated to the soul.

Age-related pentapsychology, the section of octanalysis, notes that the activity of the soul, heart and reason depends on a large extent on the age of the person and his upbringing.

Reason becomes active in consciousness of the child at the age of 1.5-2 years and up to 6 years of age the reason completely manages consciousness.

The heart begins to show its activity at 6 years of age. From 6 to 18 years, both reason and heart manage consciousness. The struggle of the reason and heart for managing consciousness is the most acute in adolescence.

The soul begins to show its activity from the age of 18. Then, three hypostases: the reason, heart and soul manage consciousness.

With the correct upbringing of man, in adulthood, the divine hierarchy of hypostases is maintained in his consciousness: the soul is at the first place, the heart is at the second place, and the reason is in the third place. And if mistakes are made in upbringing, in consciousness of an adult person, the reason or heart may be in first place.

Consider the properties of the reason, heart and soul.

The reason (hypostasis 1-Reason) has the freedom of intellectual choice, performs the function of analyzing the situation, conscious maneuvering of the person between the circumstances of life. The reason plans a person's actions based on unscrupulousness and selfishness.

The heart (hypostasis 4-Heart) has the freedom of management choice, performs the function of managing, choosing the path on base of the actions of the soul and the reason.

Man's managerial abilities, sense of responsibility for the decisions made, adulthood are manifested through the heart. The actions of the heart, the acts of a person largely depend on the properties of the soul and the reason.

The soul (hypostasis 5-Soul) has the freedom of emotional choice, performs the function of serving on the basis of altruism. The soul says an emotional "yes" only to what interests a person, only to what a person is ready to serve.

A person with an undeveloped soul, or else he is called a man with a weak soul or faint-hearted person, serves on the base of altruism only to himself. Emotionally, he says "yes" only to himself.

A person with a more developed soul can serve on the basis of altruism to his family, other people, to take care of his near. Emotionally, he says "yes" only to those few nears whom he is willing to take care of.

A person spiritually developed has a wide soul, shows magnanimity. He is able to serve many people, serve his people. Emotionally, he says "yes" to every person from his people.

Monk the ascetic, the prayer-book has such a wide soul that it feels an inner need to pray for the whole world. And every person in this world is his near for whom he is ready to take care. The monk shows divine love. In the complete absence of manifestations of the individual "I", he acts according to the will of God. Emotionally, he says "yes" to everything in Universe and is ready to take care of all this by the will of God.

When, according to the divine plan, the reason is subordinated to the heart, and the heart is subordinated to the soul, then egoism of the reason is subordinated to altruism of the soul. In this case, the reason does not act as a destroyer.

In the case of violation of the divine hierarchy of hypostases, when reason becomes at the first place in the psyche, it becomes the reason-devil.

The reason-devil is tuned to boundless selfishness. Therefore, having a free intellectual choice, he ignores altruism of the soul and the managerial choice of the heart. The soul and the heart begin to act on the basis of the boundless selfishness of the reason. An inner contradiction between the soul and the reason arises in consciousness. The person feels an internal discomfort. He has no peace in his soul.

For example, a person hates his high-paying job. Emotionally, a person says "no" to his work, but intellectually, on the basis of a desire for profit, a person says "yes" to work. He continues to work, but he feels great sorrow.

To overcome sorrows, it is necessary to return the reason to the observance of the divine hierarchy of the hypostases of the psyche.

15. Caritology, types of love

Caritology, the section of octanalysis, forms a systemic image of the phenomenon of love. What is love?

In Universe, all cosmic bodies are mutually attracted by gravitational force. To keep in unity all cosmic bodies in Universe is possible only with the help of gravitation, mutual attraction.

Similarly, all psychic entities in Universe can be held together only by mutual attraction, mutual psychic attraction. It is love that is the force of the mutual psychic attraction of living beings, the Great Universal Magnet. Love supports the unity of all psychic entities in Universe.

Caritology notes that love is unique in that each of the eight hypostases of the human psyche manifests the property of love. But this property of love for each hypostasis manifests itself in its own way. Eight hypostases of the psyche correspond to eight types of love:

Hypostasis 0-Source - universal love, divine love
Hypostasis 7-Imagination - imaginary love
Hypostasis 6-Subconscious - love under hypnosis
Hypostasis 5-Soul - sacrificial love
Hypostasis 4-Heart - heart love, friendly love
Hypostasis 3-Irratio - Sexual Love
Hypostasis 2-Ratio - parental love, love for one's near
Hypostasis 1-Reason - selfish love.

When any hypostasis shows the greatest activity in the psyche, then in the behavior of the person the corresponding type of love is most clearly manifested.

Universal love. With domination of the hypostasis 0-Source, a person loves everything in Universe by universal love. Only a monk, not having a family and material property, can feel the state of such love without destructive consequences for him and others. Monk elder Seraphim of Sarov, following the example of Jesus Christ, for the sake of maintaining such love in himself, universal love, at the beginning of his monastic life refused his relatives, who sometimes decided to visit him in the monastery.

Imaginary love. With domination of hypostasis 7-Imagination a person in his fantasies, dreams can imagine that he loves someone or someone loves him and acts on the basis of this imaginary love.

Love under hypnosis. With domination of the hypostasis 6-Subconscious, the consciousness of a person is in a passive state (a state of sleep, a state of trance, a hypnotic state), and, for example, a fatal woman with hypnotic abilities can induce love under hypnosis in the psyche of man to achieve her own selfish goals.

Sacrificial love. With domination of the hypostasis 5-Soul, a person builds soulful relationships with people, shows altruism, ability to sacrifice, devotion and service, shows sacrificial love.

Friendly love. With domination of the hypostasis 4-Heart, a person seeks to build friendly and cordial personal relationships with all people on the basis of equality and mutual respect. He manifests managerial abilities, an adult attitude to life, responsibility, friendly love.

Sexual love. With domination of the hypostasis 3-Irratio, a person manifests the child's state in his behavior, the spontaneity of actions, illogical actions, the desire to turn everything into a game, sexual desire.

Parental love. With domination of the hypostasis 2-Ratio, a person manifests the desire to care for someone, as a parent, to teach, instruct, show a sense of proportion, exceptional rationality, consistency in one's actions, observe rules, agreements, and to exercise accuracy in everything. A person manifests parental love, love to the near.

Selfish love. With domination of the hypostasis 1-Reason, a person manifests selfishness, selfish love. He builds formal, impersonal relationships with people and maintains the exclusively social relations on the principle "You give me, I give you", for example, "Do you love me while I give you expensive gifts?", or, another example, the mother says to the child: "When you will behave well, then I will love you."

16. Achievement of a state of humility

Humility means the consent of the soul to all that occurs in Universe, when a person accepts events, not wanting personally any particular outcome. Often, humility is not achieved because of an incorrect understanding of good and evil.

People often do not understand how God, creating everything on the basis of the principle of impeccability, could allow the appearance of evil on Earth?

Consider the ways of apparition of evil.

On the path of self-improvement, man strives to do everything as best as possible. In fact, he embarks on the path of perfectionism. But what is dangerous for the ascetic in perfectionism?

Perfectionism often leads to the development of human pride: "I do this much (prayers, fasting, etc.) much better than others, and therefore I can be proud of it!" But pride breeds evil. We see here a causal relationship: perfectionism breeds evil.

Spiritual perfection is not based on perfectionism, but on love and service. Service is always built on altruism, on bestowal, on sacrifice. In the service and sacrifice, pride does not arise.

The freedom of intellectual choice on the basis of reasonings often leads to erroneous actions, the generation of evil. At the same time, people learn from their mistakes and mistakes of others, gain life experience, become wiser and move along the path of self-improvement.

If a person did not have freedom of choice, there were no mistakes that gave rise to evil, and there was no correction of mistakes, then man could not develop and improve itself.

Therefore, freedom of choice, good and evil - all these are the elements necessary for human development. Awareness of this leads to an understanding of the wisdom of the organization of life and helps to achieve a state of humility.

Some people consider illness, misfortune and mortality of people as a manifestation of evil. However, on closer examination of people's lives, one begins to notice that a person who fulfills his predestination, has health, happiness and longevity as long as he fulfills his predestination. Diseases, unhappiness and mortality of people arise when people deviate from the fulfillment of their predestination. And the predestination of man always corresponds to the divine will.

17. The fear of God

Some people misunderstand what fear of God is. The fear of God is observance of the divine hierarchy - a hierarchy established on the basis of the principle of impeccability. Observance of the hierarchy is a necessary condition for the fulfillment of the service. Where the hierarchy is broken, there can not be a service.

Respect for the elders, respect for leaders, respect for the wise are compliance with the hierarchy.

18. The Forgiveness of Sins

Some people misunderstand the words "forgiveness of sins."

They understand the way it is profitable to understand it for them. They understand that the forgiveness of sins is the forgiveness of sins to all and always.

In fact, the forgiveness of sins means forgiveness only to those who have realized and corrected itself. And the forgiveness of sins to those who did not correct itself is service to Satan. Such forgiveness only corrupts a person.

Let's consider an example. A person has committed the murder of a person, is mentally suffering from this, went to church to repent. The priest let him go of sins, it became easy on the person's soul, and a week later he killed one more person. And again his soul suffers, now from the second murder. From the first murder the soul of the murderer no longer suffers, since priest let go of this sin. Will the priest let go of second sin - the second murder?

19. About mercy

Spiritual development of the soul goes from small to great. The small soul serves to the small. The great soul serves the great, the man shows magnanimity, mercy. Mercy is always a manifestation of magnanimity, a manifestation of love-care for one's near, even if this one's near is an enemy. In other words, the sphere of the service of the great soul, the sphere of its care can include the near, who is the enemy.

The sphere of parental love, the sphere of human concern directly depends on the breadth of soul. The emotional choice of the soul always definitely and unambiguously demonstrates us the breadth of the human soul, shows how much a person is spiritually developed. The sphere of sincere care always includes only those close ones, for which the emotional choice of the soul says "Yes!".

Care is the service if it is built on altruism. And if care is built on selfishness, on gaining profit, then such care is only a work, a way of generating income.

When a person manifests magnanimity, when the mercy of his soul is manifested, then his mercifulness is also manifested.

By manifesting the mercy of his soul, man, in his inner state, is approaching the state of manifestation of the mercy of God. The more magnanimity a person displays, the closer he is to the mercy of God.
